ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Interact positively with internal teams, contractors, and clients to promote a cooperative work environment.

  • Schedule project meetings, track milestones, and monitor deadlines for telecom construction projects.

  • Communicate project specifications, timelines, and deliverables to diverse stakeholders including field crews and vendor partners.

  • Build and maintain effective partnerships across construction, engineering, and service delivery teams.

  • Handle sensitive project and client information with absolute confidentiality.

  • Adapt to dynamic, fast-paced project environments while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Multi-task across multiple active construction projects while prioritizing competing demands.

  • Demonstrate professional appearance, communication, and standards of behavior.

  • Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in deadline-driven environments.

  • Maintain advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills with focus on quality and continuous improvement.

  • Work independently and proactively to produce high-quality results with minimal supervision.

  • Solve construction coordination challenges within established company standards and goals.

  • Be conscientious, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering projects to specification.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Update tracking systems (e.g., Salesforce, Smartsheet, OSP tools) to reflect accurate project status.

  • Track and report on construction milestones, permitting timelines, and expense records.

  • Prepare and distribute project correspondence, meeting minutes, and reports.

  • Support regional construction leads in resolving project issues and removing barriers.

  • Develop and maintain project files ensuring data integrity and completeness.

  • Coordinate document submission for permitting, inspections, and site readiness.

  • Host regular project update meetings to capture and report status, risks, and next steps.

  • Collaborate with internal service delivery teams on project documentation and handoffs.

  • Respond quickly to outages, escalations, and emergency telecom system issues.

  • Provide administrative support including timesheet tracking, trip planning, and supplies management.

  • Generate ad hoc reports and project summaries as requested by leadership.

  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in a telecom or construction project coordination role.

  • Familiarity with fiber, wireless, and low voltage infrastructure preferred.

  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project tracking tools.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships across teams.
