Position Summary:
Transports patients of all ages to and from all departments within the hospital complex in a friendly, professional and
ethical manner. Trained to perform all Physical Therapy, Radiology, Nursing, Admitting and patient discharge
transportation requirements. Must display strong leadership and coordination. Performs other related duties.
Qualifications/Requirements
Education
High School diploma or equivalent.
Required licensures/certifications
Current BLS certification required.
Skills and Abilities
Must be able to lift, move and transport patients, be able to communicate with patients and staff and adhere to
hospital safety standards and proper body mechanics
Bilingual - English and Spanish preferred. Must be patient focused and customer service oriented.
Experience
Previous experience in customer service preferred.
