As our workload grows, we’re looking for a Senior Construction Manager who can anchor our internal operations—someone who blends emotional intelligence with executional grit. We don’t need another cheerleader, and we don’t need a drill sergeant. We need a steady hand who sees the whole board, keeps people moving, and keeps things from slipping.

You won’t be wearing a hard hat every day—but you’ll make sure the people who do have what they need, when they need it. You’ll be the glue between project managers, leadership, subcontractors, and clients.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing calendars, deadlines, and project schedules
- Writing clear, concise emails that move projects forward
- Communicating directly with GCs and subcontractors—professionally and consistently
- Tracking RFIs, submittals, and deliverables
- Coordinating document control (plans, revisions, permits, logs)
- Supporting project managers with behind-the-scenes logistics
- Organizing job files and maintaining clean version control
- Helping leadership stay focused by handling follow-ups and task accountability
- Building relationships without sacrificing urgency or standards
Must-Haves
- Strong written and verbal communication—email is your primary tool
- High emotional intelligence—you know how to hold people accountable while keeping them engaged
- Self-driven—you follow up without being asked and close loops completely
- Strong multitasking ability—multiple jobs, vendors, and deadlines at once
- Quick learner with digital tools (Google Workspace, task tracking software, etc.)
- Administrative mindset—this is an operational role, not a field position
- Comfortable being the person who ensures nothing gets missed, even when no one’s watching
This Role is NOT:
- Remote or hybrid — this is a 100% in-office role in Apopka, FL
- A job site or field-based position
- Just about checking boxes — you’ll need to drive outcomes and strengthen team dynamics
- Right for someone who needs constant direction — you’re expected to build structure, take initiative, and keep people aligned
What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)
Week 1:
- Understand our systems—JobNimbus, Google Drive structure
- Learn team responsibilities and begin managing the task list
Month 1:
- Operate independently
- Actively contribute in daily meetings
- Communicate directly with vendors, subs, and internal staff without oversight
Quarter 1:
- Recommend improvements to task tracking and oversight systems
- Help leadership identify and address blind spots in coordination or accountability
