Requirements:
Essential Job Functions:
• Maintains the dairy section to ensure it operates efficiently and meets quality standards.
• Provides prompt, courteous, and professional customer service.
• Stocks, prices, and rotates dairy products, ensuring proper handling of perishable items and adherence to expiration dates.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of dairy cases, shelves, coolers, and storage areas.
• Monitors refrigeration and cooler temperatures and reports issues to management.
• Ensures shelves and displays are fully stocked, faced, and visually appealing.
• Follows all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Handles damaged or expired products according to company policy.
• Uses department equipment safely and reports maintenance issues as needed.
• Assists the Department Manager and supports team operations as required.
• Complies with all company policies, dress code, training requirements, and attendance standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Non-slip shoes are mandatory for a safe working environment (company does not provide).
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Proficiency in English is required; Spanish skills are a plus.
- Non-slip shoes are required for safety (not provided).
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Reliable transportation is a must.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
- Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and kneeling throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment with exposure to steam, flames, and cleaning agents
- Manual dexterity to safely handle knives, tools, and kitchen equipment
- Clear vision and hearing to ensure safety, accuracy, and effective communication
- Ability to climb step stools or ladders as needed
- Must be able to work on weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as scheduled
