Job DescriptionOverview: LHH is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Probate Paralegal to join our client's dynamic legal team. In this role, you will support attorneys in all phases of the probate process, from initial client consultations through document preparation, estate administration, and probate proceedings. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of probate procedures, and a commitment to providing exceptional legal support in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys in the preparation and drafting of probate documents, including petitions, inventories, and court filings.

Manage and oversee the administration of estates, including gathering and valuing assets, preparing inventories, and handling distributions.

Conduct legal research and provide support in probate matters, including filing petitions, preparing court documents, and communicating with court personnel.

Maintain and organize client files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and answering questions related to their probate matters.

Coordinate with financial institutions, beneficiaries, and other parties involved in the estate administration process.

Assist in the preparation of tax returns related to estates and trusts.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, with a strong background in probate and estate administration.

Proficiency in legal research and document preparation.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Familiarity with probate procedures and willingness to learn and develop skills in this area.

Proficient in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation: Dependent on experience, up to $100,000 annually

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
