Activities Assistant - Healthcare

John Knox Village is seeking an Activities Assistant on a Full Time Basis, M-F 8:00am-4:30pm.

This is an exciting and dynamic position to provide a variety of meaningful activities for the elders daily. As an Activities Assistant, you will aid with scheduling entertainment, managing the event calendar, research and planning.

As the Activities Assistant you will:

• Plan, oversee, and execute 20 events per week for HealthCare residents and elders.
• Provide a variety of meaningful activities for the elders each day. Plan monthly programs and schedule entertainment as needed.
• Assist with the research, planning and implementation of 3 large scale events /year .
• Ensure all aspects of Meaningful Life program set up requirements, production needs, catering, transportation etc. are coordinated efficiently, timely, accurately and within budget.

We would like to speak to those who have:

• An Associate's Degree in Recreation Therapy, Business, Marketing or a related field.
• You must also have prior experience working in a Life Plan or senior living community with knowledge of Life Plan Continuum.
• Also seeking someone who is technologically savvy, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Smartsheet, and a variety of software and devices.
