Cath Lab RN Travel Contract
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 4x10hr Days; 8a-6p Mon-Fri; On-Call required
EMR: EPIC
Holiday Coverage: Yes

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse for a travel contract assignment in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative team in a scenic location while advancing your career in interventional cardiac care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures

• Start IVs and administer sedative and cardiac medications as needed

• Monitor patients throughout procedures and post-recovery

• Operate and troubleshoot cath lab equipment

• Document care and complete patient records accurately and timely

• Support flow wire, IVUS, and Opsens insertion

• Administer IV adenosine infusion and manage contraindications and reversals

• Deliver procedural sedation safely and maintain annual certification

Requirements:

• Active RN License (Compact or FLstate license)

• Cardiac Cath Level I Trauma experience required

• ACLS and BLS (AHA) required

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
