Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) to join our school district in Saint Lucie, FL (34952) for the upcoming 20252026 school year. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students with visual impairments across grade levels.

Job Details:

Full-time, onsite position
Contract dates: 20252026 school year
Caseload: K12 students with varying levels of visual needs
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success

Requirements:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Education for the Visually Impaired (or related field)
Valid Florida Teaching Certification with TVI endorsement
Previous experience in schools preferred
