Hendrick Automotive Group is seeking an experienced Sales Desk Manager who is passionate about the automotive industry and has a proven track record of success in dealership sales management. Job Summary: You will be responsible for overseeing and developing a sales team to drive company revenue. We are actively interviewing for this position at Hendrick Honda Bradenton - just minutes from the beach!

Ideal candidates should have automotive sales and desking expertise (new/used cars), knowledge of Dealership Management Systems, and leadership qualities that will inspire a dedicated sales team in delivering exceptional customer service and achieving sales targets.

Pay Range: $140,000 - $200,000/yr. and above (based on sales performance).

Automotive Sales Manager Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate the sales team activities.
  • Establish sales quotas and goals for the sales team.
  • Analyze sales statistics to identify areas of improvement.
  • Track results and trends regularly for business forecasting.
  • Report on team and individual performance.
  • Develop and execute innovative sales strategies.
  • Build and form new partnerships with potential clients.
  • Train and supervise sales team, ensure compliance with manufacturer training requirements.
  • Oversee department inventory.
  • Interact with customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for sale price & trade-in vehicle appraisal decisions.
  • Ensure proper reporting of sales to manufacturer(s).
  • Has working knowledge of factory(s) incentive programs.
  • Attend required manager meetings.
  • Maintain effective employee relations.
  • Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area.
  • Participate in required training.
  • Follow Safeguards rules and regulations.
  • Demonstrate the Company’s Core Values.
  • Comply with Company policies and procedures.
  • Observe all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Automotive Sales Manager Qualifications:

  • Prior automotive sales experience required.
  • 5 years inside of a dealership preferred (Honda or similar).
  • Associates Degree or commensurate Sales Management experience.
  • Knowledge of dealership sales procedures and supervisory experience.
  • Able to meet regular attendance requirements Full Time (including evening hours, weekends, and holidays).
