We are looking for Engineering Technician for our client in Palm Bay, FL

Job Description:
Essential Functions:
- Transport test equipment, fixtures, and cables to required testing locations.
- Setup tests per written documentation and engineering direction.
- Verify all test equipment is in calibration.
- Verify all licensed test software is not expired.
- Assemble custom or COTS equipment/fixtures.
- Performs tests and records required information.
- Document failures and report any anomalies to key stakeholders.
- Executing automated software using LabVIEW and/or TestStand GUIs.
- Troubleshooting failed assemblies with engineering oversight.
- Operate RF and/or digital test equipment including network analyzers, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, noise figure analyzers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, DMMs and power supplies.
Qualifications:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience.
- 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
- Ability to obtain a clearance is required.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Excellent communication, technical writing and presentation skills.
- Experience handling very sensitive and fragile hardware, including mating and demating high density and RF connections.
- Experience with qualification testing, including vibration, thermal and thermal vacuum testing.
- Willing to work overtime as requested.
Must Have:
- Experience operating RF and Digital test equipment and technology is a must
- Very strong computer skills, must be able to run automated tests.
- Strong windows, navigate directories, MS office programs etc., able to adhere to strict documented processes.
- Strong attention to detail and able to work with small/fragile/detailed parts.
