Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Concrete Superintendent to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience overseeing concrete operations on civil and marine construction projects and will be responsible for managing crews, coordinating daily activities, ensuring quality workmanship, and maintaining strict safety standards across job sites throughout Florida.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and supervise all concrete operations on active job sites, including formwork, rebar installation, pours, finishing, and curing

  • Manage field crews, foremen, and subcontractors to ensure productivity and quality standards are met

  • Coordinate manpower, equipment, and material deliveries to maintain project schedules

  • Read and interpret project plans, specifications, and schedules

  • Ensure all work complies with company policies, OSHA regulations, and project safety requirements

  • Conduct daily site inspections and safety meetings

  • Communicate regularly with project managers regarding progress, issues, and scheduling needs

  • Maintain daily reports, time tracking, and job documentation

  • Enforce proper use and care of company equipment and tools

  • Assist with hands-on work as needed to support crews and meet project demands

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in concrete construction, with supervisory or superintendent experience required

  • Strong knowledge of concrete construction methods, materials, and equipment

  • Proven ability to lead crews and manage multiple work activities simultaneously

  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications

  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and job site compliance

  • Strong work ethic and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
