Exciting opportunity for a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to support a Level III NICU and adult critical care in a dynamic hospital setting. This contract position, based in Hollywood, FL, involves working in a high-acuity environment where advanced respiratory therapies and critical care interventions are daily practice.

Responsibilities:
- Provide expert respiratory care and treatment to neonates and adults in Level III NICU and adult critical care units.
- Operate advanced respiratory equipment including High Frequency Jet Ventilators and Oscillators.
- Float between NICU and adult care units as needed, adapting to patient needs and unit demands.
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other respiratory therapists.
- Participate in patient assessments, treatment planning, and continuous evaluation.
- Maintain accurate documentation using EMR systems (Meditech preferred).
Qualifications:
- Current RRT licensure with at least 2 years of acute care hospital experience.
- Mandatory certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP for NICU.
- Proven competency in managing ventilators, including High Frequency Jet and Oscillator.
- Experience in stroke management and NRP highly desirable.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented, critically focused environment.
- Strong critical thinking with excellent communication skills.
Schedule:
- Day and night shifts available.
- Staffing ratios: 1:1 or 2:1 depending on patient acuity.
