Nuclear Medicine Technologist Fort Pierce, FL
Full-Time, Days/Evenings/Mixed (Rotating Weekends), $30.34 to $42.47/hr, Sign-On $10,000, Relocation Case-by-Case

Overview
Join a dynamic imaging team as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, performing advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a fast-paced clinical setting. This role offers flexibility across day, evening, and mixed 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends, while supporting a wide range of patient populations from pediatric to geriatric.

Responsibilities

  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures using ionizing radiation safely and accurately

  • Prepare, operate, and maintain imaging equipment according to ALARA standards

  • Develop and organize imaging films and digital records

  • Monitor patient condition and respond to clinical changes during procedures

  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with safety protocols

  • Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient information

  • Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and healthcare team members to ensure quality care

Qualifications

Required:

  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or Registered Radiographer (ARRT)

  • State Registered Radiologic Technician

  • Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 30 days of start

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of start

Preferred:

  • Experience in hospital-based nuclear medicine or diagnostic imaging

  • Knowledge of PET, SPECT, or hybrid imaging systems

  • Strong patient care and communication skills

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly pay: $30.34-$42.47 depending on experience

  • Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
