Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide onsite services at an elementary school in Navarre, FL. This contract role focuses exclusively on conducting speech-language evaluations throughout the contract school year (CSY).
Key qualifications and experience:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with eligibility or current status as a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) clinician preferred
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with pediatrics
- Familiarity with teletherapy is a plus, though this role is onsite
- Credentials including the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) are highly desirable
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations for elementary school students
- Document findings accurately and submit required reports according to school district timelines
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to interpret evaluation results and assist in student service planning
- Maintain compliance with state and local guidelines related to SLP services in educational settings
