Job Summary

As a Bilingual Medical Assistant, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team, ensuring the smooth operation of clinical activities while providing top-tier patient care. Under general supervision in an outpatient clinical setting, you will perform a variety of tasks, including initial patient triage, assisting medical providers, and executing routine medical procedures according to established protocols.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and foster a welcoming environment for patients and their families.
  • Conduct initial patient triage and obtain patient histories.
  • Ensure efficient patient flow, minimizing wait times and coordinating with providers.
  • Assist providers with direct patient care and routine medical procedures.
  • Stay updated on policies, procedures, and compliance regulations.
  • Communicate patient results and follow up as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring exam rooms are fully stocked.
  • Adhere to safety, environmental, and infection control protocols.
  • Perform routine clinical tasks, including:
    • EKGs
    • Ear lavage
    • Sterile dressing changes
    • Nebulizer treatments
    • Suture removal
    • Administering immunizations and therapeutic injections
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.


Requirements:Qualifications

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required to effectively communicate with a diverse patient population.
  • Medical Assistant certification preferred, or equivalent clinical training.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Knowledge of business office procedures and experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and problem-solve effectively.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with providers, patients, and colleagues.
