Overview

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Help with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of care provided.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers as needed.
- Support individuals living with disabilities by promoting independence and dignity.
- Administer medication reminders and monitor client health conditions.
- Engage clients in activities that promote mental and physical well-being.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans effectively.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is preferred.
- Knowledge of hospice care and assisted living environments is beneficial.
- Familiarity with dementia care techniques and strategies.
- Ability to prepare nutritious meals while considering dietary restrictions.
- Proficient in maintaining organized medical records and documentation systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
