Position Overview
The Pest Control Technician is responsible for performing pest management services at residential and commercial properties. This role requires attention to detail, professionalism, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform pest control treatments for insects, rodents, and other pests
- Inspect properties to identify pest issues and determine appropriate treatment plans
- Apply pesticides and treatments safely and in compliance with state regulations
- Educate customers on pest prevention and treatment recommendations
- Maintain accurate service records and reports
- Safely operate company vehicles and equipment
- Provide excellent customer service and represent Baker Landscape professionally
Requirements:
Qualifications
- Previous pest control experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Florida Pest Control License (preferred but not required — assistance available for qualified candidates)
