About the Role

We are a custom cabinetry company looking for an experienced Cabinet Vision Programmer who can also serve as a Shop Foreman. This person will oversee the engineering process, manage production flow, and ensure seamless coordination between design and fabrication.

Responsibilities

Cabinet Vision / UCS

• Write, test, and maintain UCS code in Cabinet Vision
• Automate cabinet construction methods, machining, and reporting
• Generate shop drawings, cut lists, and CNC-ready programs

Shop Foreman Duties

• Oversee daily shop operations and assign tasks to cabinetmakers
• Ensure projects move efficiently from design → CNC → assembly → finishing → installation
• Troubleshoot production issues and maintain quality control
• Train and support shop staff in following standardized methods
• Communicate with project managers, designers, and installers to resolve issues quickly

Qualifications

• Advanced Cabinet Vision experience (including UCS coding)
• Strong knowledge of cabinet construction and CNC workflows
• Previous experience as a shop foreman, lead cabinetmaker, or production manager
• Ability to manage people, schedules, and shop floor efficiency
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
