Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A position is available for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in a K-12 school setting within the Cape Coral, FL area. This full-time contract opportunity runs from January 5, 2026, through June 1, 2026, with a typical workweek of 37.5 hours. Multiple locations are available, mostly in the East Zone near Lehigh Acres, with the furthest site being Lexington Middle School near Naples. Part-time arrangements may also be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations and therapy services to students across various school sites.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with educational and clinical standards.
- Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) where applicable.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Florida teacher certification and/or licensure in speech-language pathology.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship status (SLP-CF) required.
- Experience working with school-age children preferred; caseloads may vary by site.
- Ability to provide supervision for SLPAs is a plus.
