Life Transformation Counseling’s Purpose

Life Transformation Counseling serves a diverse base of clients, who are greeted and receive therapy in a safe and unbiased environment. We provide counseling for all ages and stages of life, from children to adults. We offer individualized counseling for couples and family therapy to help all navigate through trauma, tragedy, and everyday struggles that can lead to anxiety, depression, and codependency.

Qualifications You’ll Need:

● High School or Associate's Degree (minimum)

● English speaking, bilingual preferred

● Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Quickbooks

● We will Offer Training on Proprietary Office Programs and Procedures

What You'll Do

● Cultivate a hospitable, welcoming environment for clients and staff

○ Answer and return client calls

○ Greet incoming clients with warmth

● Provide the administrative support needed by therapists

○ Process payment of client sessions

○ Book appointments as requested by therapists and/or clients.

○ Maintain a wait list for therapists.

○ Assist therapists in obtaining client files and information as needed

● Assist the growth of Life Transformation Counseling

○ Work on special projects, as requested

○ Enthusiastically support marketing efforts with candor

● Refer out to other counseling professionals and other types of professionals

● Log calls and tasks completed daily.

Skills You'll Need

● Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word and Powerpoint. Experience with Excel.

● Will train on proprietary software in office

● Ability to maintain confidentiality

● Excellent communication

● Effective administration

● Understanding of cultural diversity

● Effective problem-solving

● Trustworthy Character

○ Integrity, honesty, follow through

○ We need to trust that your “yes” is yes and your “no” is no

● Intrinsic Motivation

● Ability to multitask at the front desk between phone calls, e-mails, client care, and scheduling.

The receptionist position is FULL TIME (40 hrs/wk).

Mon 9a-6p
Tues 12p-6:30p
Wed 9a-5p
Thurs 9:30p-6p
Fri 9a-5p

Starting salary will be $17/hr.
