Job Description

Are you a driven Civil Engineer ready to take ownership of landmark site development projects across Florida? This opportunity offers the platform to lead, mentor, and deliver projects that genuinely shape the built environment — from commercial developments to large-scale mixed-use communities.

About the Role

As a Project Manager, you’ll lead all phases of the civil engineering project lifecycle — from concept and proposal through design, permitting, and construction. You’ll collaborate with clients, public agencies, and design partners to ensure every project is delivered efficiently, technically sound, and aligned with client expectations.

You’ll manage project budgets, schedules, and scopes of work while providing leadership and mentorship to a growing team of engineers and designers. This is a client-facing position suited to someone who enjoys technical excellence, problem-solving, and building strong, lasting relationships in Florida’s civil and land development market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of civil engineering projects including design, permitting, client coordination, and construction administration.
  • Prepare and review proposals, contracts, and project budgets.
  • Provide technical oversight and quality assurance on site design and AutoCAD Civil 3D production.
  • Lead client presentations and represent the firm at planning and zoning board meetings.
  • Mentor and develop engineers and designers within the project team.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Maintain and strengthen client relationships to generate repeat business.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in site civil design, land development, or infrastructure engineering.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and familiarity with permitting through Florida municipalities and agencies.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, clients, and deadlines simultaneously.

Why Join

  • A collaborative culture where initiative and innovation are encouraged.
  • Leadership that values open communication and supports professional growth.
  • Competitive salary, performance bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.
  • Flexible working options that promote work-life balance.
  • Continuous training, mentorship, and defined career progression toward senior leadership roles.
  • If you’re a results-driven Civil Project Manager who thrives on technical excellence, client partnership, and developing people — this is the career move that will take you further.
