Job Description

WeCare224 is seeking a highly skilled Security Camera Specialist with strong technology experience, particularly in AI-driven surveillance and smart security systems. This role is vital to supporting our AI-enhanced monitoring infrastructure, including fixed and mobile camera systems, and networked control centers.

This is a hands-on technical position ideal for candidates with a background in technology systems, network configuration, and AI-enabled video analytics. The specialist will support security operations across disaster recovery zones and ensure full regulatory compliance with all federal and local data privacy laws.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the development, Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of camera systems, including AI-integrated, solar-powered, and mobile surveillance units.
Leverage advanced technology skills to configure system hardware, software, and analytics modules.
Integrate AI video analytics for facial recognition, motion detection, object tracking, time-lapse videos, and perimeter protection.
Set up and secure network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and IP cameras.
Ensure high system uptime and reliable remote monitoring access across job sites.
Collaborate with software and field operations teams to deploy tech-based monitoring solutions aligned with standards.
Conduct user training, maintain system documentation, and execute updates and system audits. Ensure proper data retention, encryption, and deletion policies for recorded footage in accordance with FEMA, DHS, and HIPAA (if applicable) standards.
Collaborate with AI vendors or internal developers to evaluate the performance of AI models (e.g., false positives/negatives, latency, detection accuracy).
Provide field-level feedback to improve detection algorithms and automate event classification.
Serve as technical liaison during deployments with contractors, city, county, or state response agencies.
Conduct periodic “penetration” or stress tests on the security system (in coordination with IT or external consultants) to identify vulnerabilities.
Document and lead corrective action plans to improve system resilience.
