Job Description: WaterProofer Installer
Reports To: Crew leader/Supervisor
Classification: Non-Exempt
General Description:
To be successful as a waterproofing Installer, you should be able to maintain good working relationships with clients and other contractors. Ultimately, an outstanding waterproofing will ensure that all safety standards and procedures are strictly adhered to at all times.
Trade Skills/ Duties:
- Silicone and/or polyurethane building joint sealants application with 20oz sausage gun, beauty bead finish
- Expansion joint control
- Dampproofing
- Below-grade waterproofing systems bentonite, sheet applied
- Cementitious waterproofing
- Foundation drainage and protection materials
- Sheet applied and fluid applied horizontal or vertical, to include hot applied and cold applied
- Pedestrian and vehicular traffic coating systems
- Water repellents coating
- Extruded polystyrene (XPS)
- Concrete grinding concrete repair and floor prep
Requirements:
- 1+ year experience preferred not required
- Carpentry Preferred but not needed
- Proven Waterproofing or general construction experience
- Must follow Fall Protection/Safety Regulations
- Working knowledge of different waterproofing systems
- Sound knowledge of business ordinances.
- The ability to lift heavy materials and tools, etc. at a minimum of 50 lbs.
- The ability to use powered hand tools
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to climb ladders
