Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring 5 years of recent L&D experience and proficiency in high-risk deliveries.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in the Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting
- Care for high-risk obstetric patients, including antepartum cases
- Night shifts with a three 12-hour schedule (19:00-7:30), every other weekend required
- Responsibilities include scrubbing, circulating, and recovering patients
- Perform triage, central line maintenance (CVC/PICC), insulin and heparin drips, and magnesium sulfate administration
- Utilize intrauterine pressure catheters, perform sterile vaginal exams, and manage antihypertensives
- Must be experienced with Epic EMR
- Responsibilities include managing high-risk deliveries, postpartum recovery, and antepartum care
- Expected to participate in on-site testing and additional education as part of orientation
- Proof of vaccination status is required for consideration; declinations are not accepted
- Facility is smoke free
- Candidates local within a 60-mile radius are eligible

- Active FL or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 5 years recent L&D nursing experience
- Recent travel nursing experience is required
- BLS and ACLS (AHA), NRP, PALS, AWHONN, and NIHSS certifications required
- Degree from an accredited school or FBON approved institution, with at least 2 recent consecutive years of acute care experience in a U.S. hospital
- Must be able to scrub, circulate, and recover in the L&D setting
- Ability to care for patients under isolation precautions and use appropriate PPE
- Must have experience with Epic EMR
- Passing EKG/baseline arrhythmia exam is required before first shift
