Dental Treatment Coordinator – Duties & Responsibilities

Educate patients on diagnosed dental conditions and recommended treatment plans

Clearly explain procedures, benefits, timelines, and alternatives in patient-friendly language

Review financial options, insurance benefits, and payment plans with patients

Coordinate treatment scheduling to ensure smooth patient flow and case acceptance

Serve as the liaison between dentist, clinical team, and patients

Answer patient questions with empathy, clarity, and professionalism

Build trust and long-term relationships with patients

Follow up with patients regarding pending or unscheduled treatment

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and treatment notes

Support case acceptance by helping patients understand the value of their dental health
