Join Parc Center for Disabilities, a leader in supporting children and adults with developmental disabilities, as our next Activities & Recreation Coordinator. In this dynamic role, you’ll plan and coordinate engaging programs, community outings, and partnerships that bring life, creativity, and fun to our Adult Day Training (ADT) program.
About the Role:
Under the direction of the ADT Senior Program Manager, the Activities & Recreation Coordinator will create and manage monthly activity calendars, organize community outings, coordinate with volunteers, and develop opportunities for participants to engage in art, music, recreation, and other enriching experiences. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external partners to bring our mission to life through engaging, well-organized programming.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Planning and managing a full schedule of daily activities and community outings. Coordinating arts, recreation, and volunteer programs across the ADT campus. Communicating with program staff, families, and community partners. Tracking participation and documenting activities to support person-centered goals. Promoting inclusion, independence, and joy for all participants.
Requirements:
What You Bring to the Team:
At least 3 years of experience in planning and executing events, recreational activities, or performing arts programs. A high school diploma or equivalent. A valid Florida Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record. Excellent organization, communication, and creative planning skills. A passion for making a difference and helping others live fully and independently.
