Job DescriptionMiddle School Science TeacherSalary: $54,000 DOE Start Date: July 30, 2025Location: Palmetto, FloridaWe are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Middle School Science Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and standards-based science instruction to students in grades 6–8. This includes creating lesson plans, conducting lab experiments, assessing student performance, and fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages scientific curiosity and critical thinking.
Responsibilities:Plan and implement dynamic lessons aligned with state standards in Earth, Life, and Physical Science.Create hands-on learning experiences through experiments and lab activities.Evaluate and monitor student progress through assignments, tests, and projects.Collaborate with fellow educators and participate in school events and professional development.Maintain classroom discipline and a safe learning environment.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Science Education or related field (Master’s preferred).Valid teaching certification for middle school science.Strong classroom management and communication skills.Passion for inspiring young learners to explore scientific concepts.
