WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Respond to inquiries regarding new home warranties and coordinate with the appropriate warranty representative
- Examine and file completed warranty work orders, addressing customer-related issues as needed
- Notify the Area Construction Manager of any incomplete orientation or 30-day lists
- Respond to homeowner calls and emails concerning warranty service requests, ensuring responses within 24 hours
- Evaluate service requests, guide customers on proper maintenance techniques, and recommend subcontractors as necessary
- Collaborate with warranty representatives and trade contractors to ensure the timely completion of warranty requests
- Review and finalize work orders submitted by warranty representatives, ensuring proper system closeout upon completion
- Send timely reminders to homeowners after their warranty expires
- Contact customers to verify their satisfaction with services after initiating customer surveys
- Stay informed about all SimplyDwell and products currently under construction
- Update the phone list of trade contractors utilized by SimplyDwell
- Adhere to the Warranty Emergency Procedure for after-hours calls and reports
- Generate reports for the Area Construction Manager, including work status reports for warranty representatives and trade contractors
- Support the Area Construction Manager in resolving claims and disputes
- Administrate all necessary clerical work for the warranty department
- Schedule and plan agendas for monthly warranty department meetings.

WHAT YOU BRING:
- High school diploma, some college is preferred
- Two or more years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in the home building or construction industry preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated experience working and communicating with a wide range of people with a strong customer service orientation
- Excellent Computer and Clerical skills (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- General sedentary work requiring the use of office equipment such as computers, copiers, printers, scanners, and telephones
- Position requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, grasping, writing, typing, repetitive motions, hearing ability, visual acuity, and climbing stairs on occasion
- May occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
