We are looking for an experienced Automotive Title Clerk to join our team! Responsibilities include title processing of new and used vehicles, document accuracy and compliance, basic bookkeeping skills and customer support. The ideal candidate must have prior work experience and knowledge of Florida DMV Regulations. Must have excellent attention to detail, strong organizational and communication skills, and be a team player with a strong work ethic. If this sounds like you, please apply!
Responsibilities:
- Processes all new and used vehicles for registration
- Prepares title documents
- Submits all legal transfer work to the DMV
- Verifies funds are collected and correct lienholder has been paid off before processing title applications
- Checks for accuracy in the application and ensures all information is complete
- Prepares payoff checks for new vehicles and trade-ins
- Prepares Certificates of Origin
- Maintains a system to verify out-of-state titles
- Compiles & maintains complete list of all outstanding title work; reports to management on status of missing or problem titles
- Signs over titles for all wholesalers who have paid in full
- Prepares stock cards for new and used vehicles
- Posts vehicle sales and purchases
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of Automotive Dealership experience required
- Dealer DMV experience preferred
- Reynolds and Reynolds experience preferred
- Clerical, word processing and office skills
- Database managements skills
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
