Job Title: Surgical Scheduler

Location: Coral Springs, FL

About Us:
THInc | Traverso Hand Inc., is a busy, patient-focused Hand Surgery practice dedicated to providing exceptional care. We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and compassionate Surgical Scheduler to join our team and support our growing surgical services.

Position Overview:
The Surgical Scheduler is responsible for coordinating all aspects of patient surgeries, ensuring a seamless experience for patients, providers, and surgical facilities. This role requires excellent communication, multitasking skills, and attention to detail in a fast-paced medical office. Bilingual English & Spanish preferred.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Schedule and coordinate surgical procedures with hospitals, surgery centers, and providers

  • Obtain necessary pre-operative authorizations and clearances

  • Communicate surgical instructions and details to patients and families

  • Coordinate post-operative follow-up appointments

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR

  • Serve as a liaison between surgeons, patients, and surgical facilities

  • Verify insurance benefits and ensure compliance with payer requirements

Qualifications:


  • Previous experience in medical scheduling (surgical scheduling preferred)

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Familiarity with insurance authorizations and pre-certifications

  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR systems)

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
