Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Attorney to join our team on a contract basis in Boca Raton, Florida. This role involves a dynamic mix of legal responsibilities, including contract drafting, corporate law, and transactional work. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach and the ability to contribute effectively from day one.
Responsibilities:
• Draft and review a variety of contracts, agreements, and other corporate documents.
• Provide legal expertise in corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and residual loans.
• Conduct detailed legal research and analysis to support business operations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with corporate policies and legal standards.
• Offer counsel on a wide range of legal matters impacting the organization.
• Assist with transactional work and negotiations to support business objectives.
• Identify and mitigate potential legal risks associated with corporate activities.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of legal documents and agreements.
• Act as a resource for general counsel duties as required.• Must hold a valid license to practice law.
• At least 3 years of detail-oriented legal experience, preferably in corporate or business law.
• Proven expertise in drafting contracts and agreements.
• Strong knowledge of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
• Familiarity with legal procedures related to residual loans and business acquisitions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
