VieMed Healthcare Staffing is seeking 2 dedicated Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) to support patient care at a military base in Tampa, Florida. This role is ideal for an RN who enjoys a structured clinical environment, values teamwork, and is committed to delivering safe, high-quality care. You’ll collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, provide direct patient care and education, and help drive excellent outcomes through strong clinical practice, compliance, and responsiveness in urgent situations.
Contract details:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday 9 hour days with 1 hour lunch. 0700-1630
- 1 year minimum contract with options to extend until 11/2027
- Local RN rate: $35.00
- Military Base - Falls under Federal Contract Guidelines
- 11 Paid Holidays
- $5.09/hr worth in Benefits/401k options
- Sick Time: 1 h of sick time is accrued for every 30 hrs worked, up to 57 hours of sick time per year, this begins immediately
- Vacation: 2 weeks paid vacation after 1 year of service
Job Duties:
- Coordinate patient care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Ensure adherence to established standards of care, clinical practice guidelines, and facility policies/procedures
- Perform physical exams and obtain comprehensive health histories
- Provide health promotion, counseling, and patient education
- Administer medications and provide clinical interventions including wound care and other individualized treatments
- Recognize adverse signs/symptoms and respond appropriately in emergency situations
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and care teams to support care plans and education
- Arrange referrals and coordinate specialty care appointments as appropriate
- Direct and supervise care provided by other healthcare personnel
- Make patient care assignments based on scope of practice and skill level
- Support efforts that improve practice and patient outcomes, including participation in research activities as applicable
Required Qualifications:
- Prior outpatient/clinic nursing experience (primary care, occupational health, ambulatory care, etc.) within the last year
- Degree: Associate’s Degree in Nursing (at minimum)
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program recognized by ACEN or CCNE
- Active, unrestricted RN license (any U.S. state )
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC)
- Ability to pass a government background check/security clearance
