We’re looking for a skilled Commercial Refrigeration Installation Foreman to lead projects and crews with the highest level of quality and professionalism.
The Commercial Refrigeration Installation Foreman will be responsible for leading installation crews on large-scale supermarket and commercial refrigeration projects. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can coordinate team members, manage schedules, and ensure installation meets both company and manufacturer standards. You will work closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure jobs are completed on time, on budget, and to specification.
Primary Schedule: Night Shift - Monday - Thursday.
Compensation:
- $32-$34 Jr. Foreman
- $35-37 Forman
- $38 - $40 Sr. Forman
Ideal Locations to reside based on Project Locations:
- North East Florida (Greater Jacksonville Area)
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise commercial refrigeration installation crews on-site.
- Oversee the installation of rack systems, walk-in coolers/freezers, display cases, and related components.
- Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and customers to maintain a smooth workflow.
- Provide training, guidance, and quality control for crew members.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and daily job reports.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the installation process.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in commercial refrigeration installation; leadership or foreman experience required.
- Strong knowledge of supermarket rack systems and case installations (Hillphoenix, Hussmann, Zero Zone, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- EPA Universal Certification (required).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel for projects and work flexible schedules.
