We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to support customers across Florida with industrial automated manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on technical challenges, working directly with customers, and improving automation system reliability.
Must-Haves (Interview Requirements):
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial automation equipment.
- Ability to read schematics and interpret technical manuals.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, or controls background.
- Must be able to connect to PLCs without knowing the IP address.
- Must be able to test 4-20 mA signals with a multimeter.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with customers.
Day-to-day:

Troubleshoot all types of machinery, water/waste water, extrusion, pulp and paper, steel, presses, palletizers, Yaskawa robots, injection molding, and food process equipment.

Program various types of PLC’s and smart Relays, Allen Bradley, Modicon, Siemens, Omron, Idec, and Automation Direct

Program and install various drives, PowerFlex, Altivar, Simantic, Yaskawa, Kinetics and Micromaster

Use of Studio 5000, TIA Portal, Ecostructure, ControlLogix 5 and 500,Connect and Components WorkBench (CCW), Starter, SOMove and Drive IQ

Work with Wonderware, PanelView, Simantic, Red Lion, Factory Talk, Ecostructure, HMI’s and SCADA systems

Work with customers to quote, design, install, repair systems and equipment
