JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact on complex or multiple projects with supporting management staff. They are responsible for all aspects of the project, including team performance, cost, quality, schedule, and safety. This position also maintains strong relationships with Clients, Architects, Consultants, and Subcontractors while promoting the companys mission, vision, and core values.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (strongly preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in commercial construction project management, building design, or site development.
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • OSHA certification preferred.
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects or large-scale developments (healthcare, education, or institutional) preferred.
  • Knowledge of ACHA and healthcare design standards preferred.
  • Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) are preferred.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide overall leadership and management for assigned construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and staffing in coordination with Superintendents and stakeholders.
  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate project teams to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships; serve as primary point of contact throughout project lifecycle.
  • Manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and pay applications.
  • Oversee and approve subcontractor/vendor contracts, invoices, and change orders.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety, quality control, and documentation standards.
  • Lead project meetings, progress reviews, and presentations for clients and internal leadership.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks; recommend process and cost improvements.
  • Support business development by maintaining community and industry relationships.
  • Oversee project closeout, warranty resolution, and turnover documentation.
  • Participate in training, ensure safety compliance, and uphold company values.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
