Position:

Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) – Tampa, FL

  • Pay: $40/hour starting
  • Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong note-taking and time management skills to keep documentation accurate and efficient.
  • Ability to manage patient bay flow and ensure smooth transitions.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus (but not required).

Job Summary:

As a PTA, you will work directly with a supervising physical therapist to deliver treatment plans, provide hands-on care, assist patients with rehabilitation exercises, and oversee patient flow. You’ll help patients recover strength, mobility, and independence while playing a key role in our clinic’s success.

Duties:

  • Implement physical therapy care plans under PT supervision.
  • Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and patient education.
  • Monitor progress and communicate with the supervising PT.
  • Support a positive patient experience with professional, compassionate care.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
  • Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (Required).
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques.
  • Experience in orthopedics, acute, or chronic care settings preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
