Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract position is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support K-12 students in a school setting in Lake Placid, FL. This role is ideal for professionals dedicated to making a difference in the educational development of children through specialized speech and language services.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP license with active Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)

Location: Lake Placid, Florida

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language screenings, evaluations, and diagnostic assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
  • Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with educational standards
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
  • Communicate effectively with parents, educators, and other professionals to ensure continuity of care and support
