Job Title:

Commercialization Manager

Location:

Onsite – Fort Myers, FL

Reports to:

CEO

Type:

Full-Time, Salaried

About Us:

At Norman Love Confections, we believe chocolate is more than a treat — it’s an experience. We craft beautiful, innovative products that celebrate artistry, flavor, and craftsmanship. As we look to expand our seasonal and core product collections, we’re seeking a results-oriented Commercialization Manager to coordinate complex, cross-functional efforts that bring new ideas to life — from concept to launch.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-obsessed person to lead the coordination of new product development and go-to-market (GTM) efforts across our organization.

This role is perfect for someone who loves building systems, connecting dots, and making things happen. You'll work cross-functionally as the key liaison between R&D, operations, sales, and marketing to ensure products are developed, scaled, and launched successfully within budget, timeline, and quality parameters.

You’ll also help architect our internal processes — documenting and refining how we take a product from initial concept to production-ready and ultimately, to market. Importantly, you’ll be trained to understand our chocolate manufacturing equipment and capabilities so you can help assess product feasibility early in the process.

What You’ll Do:

· Coordinate and manage end-to-end product development timelines for new product collections and seasonal launches

· Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across departments

· Run project kickoffs, stand-ups, and checkpoints to keep projects aligned and moving forward

· Maintain detailed project trackers, timelines, and risk logs

· Collaborate closely with packaging/shipping, product development and manufacturing teams to understand production and packaging/shipping constraints

· Learn and understand equipment capabilities and work with culinary/manufacturing teams to qualify or disqualify product concepts

· Partner with R&D to translate concepts into scalable manufacturing processes

· Own and build the GTM workflow from scratch: mapping steps, creating documentation, and improving process efficiency

· Report on milestones, blockers, and outcomes to executive leadership

What We’re Looking For:

· 3-5 years of project management or operations experience, ideally in CPG, food production, or consumer goods

· Proven ability to manage complex timelines with many stakeholders and dependencies

· Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

· Experience coordinating across departments and navigating ambiguity

· Ability to learn technical equipment or manufacturing processes (prior food or machinery experience is a plus, but not required)

· Adept at documenting workflows, building templates, and driving process improvement

· Comfortable working onsite in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

· Start-up mentality with desire to consistently improve, learn, and grow skill sets.

Bonus Points:

· Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) or project management tools like Asana, Notion, or Microsoft Project

· Experience in food & CPG

· Background in operations, R&D, or production a plus

· Excited by building systems from the ground up

· Relentless ability to chase down answer

· Understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodologies or similar

Why Join Us?

This is a high-impact role where your work will directly shape how Norman Love Confections brings innovative products to life. If you thrive in fast-moving environments, love streamlining chaos into clarity, and want to work at the intersection of creativity and operations — we’d love to meet you.
