We are a Family Medicine Practice in search of a Full Time Certified Medical Assistant with AT LEAST 1 YEAR OF RECENT MEDICAL EXPERIENCE to join our team. The ideal candidate will be friendly, reliable, punctual, get along well with others, and able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with EHR/EMR and proficiency using computer is REQUIRED.
Position requires:
- Valid MA/LPN certification and recent experience
- Triaging patients and obtaining vitals
- Accurately documenting in EMR
- Answering nurse phone line and routing messages to the appropriate provider
- Chart prep day before appointment
- Send out referrals, process authorizations, faxing, scanning.
- Be able to work independently
- Willing to help out with other office duties so that office runs efficiently
- Ideal candidate will be a fast learner, have excellent computer skills, and can get along well with others.
