A K-12 educational setting in Sanford, FL, is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide essential health room coverage throughout the school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to support student health and safety across multiple school locations within the district.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver health care services and first aid to students in the school health room.
- Monitor and manage student health records and medication administration.
- Collaborate with school staff to promote a safe and healthy learning environment.
- Respond promptly to health emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
- Maintain communication with parents and healthcare providers as needed.
Qualifications:
- Current LPN or LVN licensure.
- Experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to healthcare regulations.
