Job Summary:
Responsible for leading and scheduling of all related repair items both in the field and in the shop. Must be able to interface with shop site manager, repair planners, service coordinators, account managers, and other employees in functional areas such as VSTL, account manager, and shop repair production. Primary duties may include hands- on shop and field repair of valves and actuators.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintains work flow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
• Maintain production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow in shop production meetings.
• Supervision and scheduling of service requests as assigned to provide increased customer satisfaction by maintaining shop workloads to hit expected delivery dates.
• Assists in loading and unloading tools and equipment into trucks for field repair.
• Communicate and provide feedback to the shop manager, follow direction and guidelines.
• Maintains National Board quality program by enforcing established organizational standards.
• Maintain and enforce a clean work environment from all subordinate shop technicians
• Maintain and enforce all safety guidelines.

Physical Demands:
• Lift objects weighing up to 44lbs.
• Turning and twisting while lifting or moving up to 44lbs.
• Navigate/climb stairs, ladders and scaffolding at client and customer sites. Often times at least 10- 30 feet in the air and sometimes higher.

Travel:
• Overnight travel required.
• Must be willing to work on site at customer facilities.

Qualifications:
• Preferred 5-7 years industry related experience (i.e. valve, pump or actuator) and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Technician supervisory experience is a plus.
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to be insured on company insurance.
• Must have mechanical aptitude.
• Must have the ability to lead a diverse workforce.
• Must be very customer focused and goal oriented.
