The firm specializes in complex commercial litigation and prides itself on fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment where paralegals can excel and grow in their careers.We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Litigation Paralegal to join our client's dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational abilities, excellent research skills, and a solid understanding of commercial litigation processes. This role offers the opportunity to support attorneys on a variety of challenging and high-profile cases.Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in all phases of commercial litigation, including case management, discovery, trial preparation, and trial support.
- Conduct thorough legal research and gather relevant case information and documentation.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and correspondence.
- Manage and organize case files, exhibits, and other legal materials.
- Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials as needed.
- Coordinate and communicate with clients, witnesses, experts, and other parties involved in the litigation process.
- Utilize legal technology and software to manage case information and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with court rules, deadlines, and procedural requirements.Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field preferred.
- Paralegal certification from an ABA-approved program preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on commercial litigation.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software applications.Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a boutique or mid-sized law firm environment.
- Familiarity with state and federal court procedures and rules.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Benefits:
