Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 educational institution in Navarre, FL, is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to provide prehensive psychological services throughout the academic year. This contract position supports student success by addressing social, emotional, behavioral, and academic needs within the school munity.
Responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, developing intervention plans, collaborating with educators and parents, and participating in multidisciplinary teams to promote student well-being. The role requires interpreting data and providing clear remendations to support individualized education programs (IEPs) and overall school mental health initiatives.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with children grades K-12, preferably in an educational setting
- Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention
- Excellent munication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families
- Knowledge of special education laws and procedures
