Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team! In this role, you will maintenance, service, or repair heating and air conditioning systems in residences or commercial establishments.
Must have 5 years experience in an HVAC service technician role and hold an EPA certification. A team player who is comfortable working independently, you love the feeling of a job well done and take pride in completing customer jobs with efficiency. A positive attitude is a must!
Responsibilities:
- Service area is Broward and Palm Beach County
- Dependable - arrive on time, dressed in company work shirt, presentable work pants, steel toed shoes, all tools in company vechical and in working order.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet daily service goals.
- Strong skills - diagnosing, repair and recommend replacements if necessary for residential and light commercial air conditioning and HVAC systems
- Establish customer rapport to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction and provide professional , courteous customer service on every call.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and overall systems evaluations
- Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical or air flow issues, also communicate clearly with office and customer, and complete service calls efficiently.
- Technician skills and tools to: replace compressors, coils, motors, leak search, replace thermostats, read wiring diagrams and any other parts necessary.
- Complete service calls efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Document work performed in detail, parts used and any recommendations accurately.
- Must have tools including, torches, vacuum pump and current handtools.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Maintain service vehicle, tools and equipment in proper working condition
- Most importantly demonstrate accountability, strong work ethic and consistency - showing up when scheduled, following through on commitments, and maintaining a professional attitude on every call.
Qualifications:
- HVAC vocational school or past experience as an HVAC service technician
- Valid Drivers License
- EPA Certification
- Ability to climb ladders, crawl, and lift 40 pounds
