Position Overview
Global Environmental & Industrial Response (GEIR) is looking for motivated ER Field Technicians to join our emergency response team. In this role, youll operate equipment and tools to provide critical emergency response cleaning services. Responsibilities also include operating high-pressure water-blast units to clean customer systems (pipes, boilers, tanks, etc.) and industrial vacuum units. Essential Functions
- Arrive on time at the office or job site, in uniform and properly groomed, ready to work.
- Set up job sites for vacuum truck and other environmental services, including equipment and safety barriers.
- Safely operate high-pressure water-blast units to clean customer systems.
- Follow all GEIR safety standards and protocols.
- Participate in daily manual and practical activities.
- Perform strenuous physical labor, including lifting, pulling, and pushing heavy objects.
- Clean and maintain equipment before returning to the GEIR office.
- Communicate effectively with the Crew Lead or Field Supervisor about safety, quality, and work integrity.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Must pass a drug test.
- Ability to carry/move up to 50 lbs.
- Capable of performing manual labor outdoors in various weather and environmental conditions.
- Prior industry experience required.
- Willingness and ability to work in confined spaces, elevated spaces, and hot, wet, cold, or foul-smelling environments during 812-hour shifts, often while handling vacuum hoses.
- Ability to use a respirator in environments with potential chemical or fume exposure; may be required to be clean-shaven.
- Willingness to work longer than 8-hour shifts and be available for emergency response callouts.
- 24 years of hands-on experience with tools and heavy equipment preferred.
- Ability to follow training and standard operating procedures.
- Ability to physically control industrial hydro-blasting and vacuum equipment.
- Basic mechanical skills preferred.
- Valid drivers license with a clean 3-year motor vehicle record.
Pay
- $18 - $25/hour (Pay is commensurate with prior experience)
