Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is needed to provide specialized behavioral support within K-12 educational settings. This contract position starts in early January and runs through the end of May, offering the opportunity to deliver evidence-based interventions across diverse school environments.
Location: Naples, FL
Assignment includes various school sites, including elementary and high school campuses, with caseloads involving students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Specific duties will vary by placement, with responsibilities ranging from supporting autism-focused classrooms to working with typically developing students requiring behavioral interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students requiring behavioral support.
- Use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies to promote positive student outcomes and improve functional skills.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency and progress in behavior management.
- Conduct assessments, collect and analyze data on student behavior, and adjust interventions accordingly.
- Provide training and support to school staff on behavior management techniques.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) licensure required.
- Experience working with K-12 students, preferably in school-based settings.
- Strong knowledge of IBI (Intensive Behavioral Intervention) for autism spectrum disorders is highly advantageous.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and adapt strategies to diverse student needs.
This full-time role offers a structured schedule of 37.5 hours per week with variable school site assignments. It is a contract position designed for professionals passionate about making a measurable difference in student behavior and academic success.
