Job Description

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will initiate, implement, and manage the plant maintenance program based on industry best practices, emphasizing planning, scheduling, and preventive/predictive maintenance to maintain and repair plant equipment. You will monitor the inventories of spare parts and maintenance supplies, initiating reorders when necessary. Additionally, you will prepare reports, analyze data, and make recommendations for improving plant operations and solving maintenance-related problems to enhance efficiency and reduce operating costs. You will also be responsible for maintaining and updating operating and training manuals for the maintenance department, ensuring all maintenance workers are trained on the most current procedures. Compliance with city, county, state, and federal regulations relating to maintenance will be a key responsibility, alongside directing and enforcing the safety program to uphold maximum safety standards for all maintenance workers.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate and manage the plant maintenance program based on best practices.
  • Emphasize planning, scheduling, and preventive/predictive maintenance.
  • Monitor inventories of spare parts and maintenance supplies, and reorder as necessary.
  • Prepare reports and analyze data to improve plant operations and reduce costs.
  • Maintain and update operating and training manuals for the maintenance department.
  • Ensure compliance with city, county, state, and federal regulations.
  • Direct and enforce the safety program for the maintenance department.

  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • 4+ years of leadership experience
  • Experience in industrial maintenance
  • Hands-on maintenance experience
  • Experience creating preventative maintenance schedules
  • Ability to communicate with vendors and order parts

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Wildwood, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
