Responsibilities: As a Parts Specialist you will be responsible in assisting the Service Department by utilizing proper purchasing procedures, inventory control, pricing strategies, merchandising and marketing wholesale. Primarily, providing estimates for internal, customer pay and warranty repairs in a timely fashion.

Responsibilities
- Provide parts quotes and estimates on recon vehicles in a timely manner
- Ordering and determining parts and equipment for technicians and service advisors accurately
- Ensure inventory is appropriate to meet internal and external customer demand while controlling obsolete and excess inventory.
- Ensure full compliance with manufacturer parts and warranty policies, procedures and rules.
- Provide Friendly and courteous service to our retail & wholesale customers
- Answering phone calls from vendors and customers and relaying parts information to customers and vendors
- Be able to receive delivery of parts
- Recording and stocking inventory
- Deliver parts and supplies to technicians when needed
- Recover and keep track of all warranty returns, battery cores
- Ensure that incoming inventory is stocked in the correct location
- Accurately price parts and accessories using the proper pricing source
- Handle and resolve customer complaints courteously and professionally as needed
- Utilize available pricing parameters and strategies to generate sufficient profit while maintaining customer loyalty.
- Work with the Service Department to ensure parts are in-stock or ordered in a timely manner as needed for all scheduled repairs
- Great Communication skills
- Self-motivated with good team relationship skills
- Be 100% determined to obtain the right part number the first time.
- Clean and professional appearance.
- MUST HAVE a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of related experience in an automotive parts position
- Excellent customer service skills
- Professional appearance and work ethic required
- Detail oriented and organized self-starter
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment
- Being on time, fully prepared to start your duties, and demonstrate punctuality

- DMS (CDK/R&R/ADP/Dealertrack): 2 years (Preferred)
