At PBACO, we improve healthcare through smart analytics and data-driven decisions. We’re looking for a Data Analyst to transform complex clinical, claims, and operational data into clear, actionable insights that help our teams deliver better care and improve performance.
You’ll partner with our Senior Data Analyst and cross-functional teams to design reports, validate data, and uncover trends that directly impact patient care, cost management, and organizational success.
What You’ll Do

Design & Maintain Reports – Build recurring reports and dashboards using Excel, SQL, and Power BI to deliver accurate, actionable insights.

Deliver Decision Support – Translate complex datasets into clear narratives and visuals for technical and non-technical audiences.

Handle Ad Hoc Requests – Scope, prioritize, and complete data requests within agreed timelines.

Ensure Data Quality – Validate results, perform reconciliations, and document quality checks before release.

Document & Share Knowledge – Keep data dictionaries, metric definitions, and SOPs current; contribute to analytics how-to guides.

Collaborate Across Teams – Work with Quality, Finance, Network, and IT to align deliverables with business goals.
What You’ll Bring

Education: Bachelor’s in Data Analytics, Health Informatics, Information Systems, Mathematics/Statistics, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).

Experience: 2–4 years in healthcare analytics or similar data role (internships considered).

Technical Skills:

Advanced Excel (Power Query, pivots, advanced formulas)

Strong SQL querying & optimization

Power BI (preferred); Python a plus

Knowledge: Healthcare data standards (ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, revenue codes) and payer program variations.

Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, strong communicator, adaptable to both technical and executive audiences.
