Qualifications

Required Education:

Minimum: High School Diploma or Equivalent; Preferred: Associate and/or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Behavior or a related field.

Required Experience:

Minimum: One (1) year of relevant job-related experience

Preferred: One (1) year of direct, job-related experience. Proficient in de-escalation techniques. Decision-making skills. Patient teaching skills. Ability to work effectively during crises. Exercises good judgment. Takes initiative. Is dependable.

Responsibilities

Acts as a supportive member of the team who performs delegated tasks within the scope of education and training in the areas of supportive listening, educational group leadership and specifically assigned patient care tasks, especially in the areas of physical intervention, safety, and maintenance of therapeutic milieu.
